with different levels of cover which are Backpack, Standard
and Premier.
Annual
Multitrip Cover
STA Travel's annual insurance offers excellent value for
the regular traveller. There is no limit to the number of
trips you can make and you don't need to let them know when
you are travelling.
Special features include:

Unlimited trips, there is no limit to the number of trips
you can take.

A couple must be de facto spouse or a single parent and
accompanying child and must be living at the same address.
Individuals in a couple or family may travel separately
under this policy, but children must be accompanied by an
adult.

No supplement for medical cover for winter sports activities.

All hazardous sports covered by the STA Travel Standard
and Premier policies are covered on the annual policy.
Standard Cover
The Standard policy from STA Traveloffers a comprehensive
range of cover at competitive prices, including medical and
luggage cover. A wide range of adventure activities, such
as bungee jumping and white water rafting are included on
the Standard policy for no additional premium.
Premium
Cover
The Premier policy offers STA Travel's most comprehensive
range of cover, including further adventure activities, as
well as search and rescue cover for those travelling to remote
areas. They particularly recommend the Premier policy (including
USA) to anyone travelling to the United States where medical
expenses can be very high. But if you're not going to the
states, then the STA Travel Premier policy (not including
the USA) gives you the same level of cover at a lower price
Backpackers
Cover
The STA Travel Backpack policy is aimed at those travelling
light and on a tight budget. It covers the essentials like
medical cover, but no luggage or adventure activities are
covered.
